So I finally figured out what to do project two on: White Ink Tattoos. Heres an example:

WHATS UP with Project two: hey, what's up?

Everytime I think I have found something "new" because I have never heard of it, I find out it is not really that new. I am going crazy trying to find SOMETHING to write about. Time is ticking and nothings sticking!

Chapter 1 readings

I was extremely moved by Brian Doyle's Joyas Volardores. It made me stop and think about life and just how precious and short life is. I loved his descriptions of the biggest and smallest hearts. Can you believe a heart can be that big that a child could walk around in it? I stop and think now about my 2 billion heartbeats and hope I spend them wisely.

Something That Inspires Me

Besides my son the only other thing that inspires me is this bikini clad flamingo lying on the beach with her drink. A friend gave this to me one winter evening. Over the past 7 months my life has gone through many changes and it has sometimes been hard to keep going. I am always telling my friend when can we open that tiki bar on the beach. I hate the cold, I hate winter, and long for the sun everyday. He gave me this knowing how I feel about winter and all the hard times I had been having. It inspired me to book a trip to St. Johns for 4 days and get some needed R&R. I keep it on my desk at work to remind me that whenever I want I can get away and get a break, there is somewhere warm out there were I can sit on the beach and relax and forget about all my worries if only for a few days.
